Day 9 of Holiday Whimsey Giveaway 12 Days of Christmas

By now you all may be wondering....why on earth would these two small time designers choose to collaborate on a freebie Christmas scrapbooking kit. On Day 7, I shared that my teenage daughter, Caitlin chose to get involved with this kit. 

The connection is that April of LyllahRaven Designs is my daughter in law! She loved what she saw after I began scrapbooking and designing and decided that she couldn't be left out of the fun! She's married to my oldest son, and mother to five (yes, FIVE) of my grand children. 

April has been like one of my own children for about 10 years now. She and my son lived with us in the beginning while he finished his phlebotomy training. I was her doula when she gave birth the first few times.
So as you can now see, the Holiday Whimsey collaboration has literally been a family collaboration!
So from my family to yours...

Holiday Whimsey Day 5 of 12 Days of Christmas

On the fifth day of Christmas, Janece gave to me....

This is the smallest piece of Holiday Whimsey. I almost didn't include some of these bits at all. Then at the last minute I said, "Nope. I made them. I'm sharing them anyhow." It's not that I don't like them. I really do. I just wasn't sure they fit with this kit. So, do I share them now or....

Or leave them on my computer to forget why I saved them. lol 

Except for one. Can you guess which it is? It's a preview of one of the days to come.

12 Days of Christmas "Holiday Whimsey" Day 1

One the first day of Christmas, Janece gave to me...

Okay, so the 12 Days of Christmas collaboration kit giveaway. Here is how it will work. 

Sort of like an advent calendar, but just for 12 days. You can't SEE the piece. 

Not until you download it and open it anyway. Just like a Christmas gift! :) 

Every day, December 1st through

December 12th, you will visit either my blog or April's at LyllahRaven Designs. 

Every day one of us will post a new piece of the kit. 12 pieces total. 

This is a HUGE KIT. We each worked on our parts separately, but we also worked on the kit 

together as a team so hopefully you have plenty of everything. I know that my part has approximately 

50 elements and 30 papers. I just kept adding so the numbers kept changing! 

This kit was so much fun and I cannot wait to see you guy enjoy it!

Come Celebrate DSD Weekend and SNP's 2nd Anniversary!

It's the second anniversary at SNP and it's DSD weekend! Can I get a WHOOT?!! They have planned a super fun weekend for you! The customers and designers are some of the best people in digi and we are so very excited to have each of you actively involved in our community! You have no idea how you've touched our lives and how much we enjoy chatting with you and looking at your layouts. There is something wonderful about SNP. It's the friendships we create. It's the way our stories intertwine with those of the people we've never met in real life. It's people from all over the world uniting in this wonderful way that helps us to capture those small moments in time that make up the stories of our lives. Nowhere else can you find such an awesome group of people who work and create so closely to build such an amazing community for all of us to feel at home in. This weekend we are celebrating each and every one of you be{You}tiful people. The challenges and chats are centered around getting to know you better. We hope you'll join us this weekend as we strengthen our friendships and our community. I'm sure there will be a lot of laughter and of course they've created a Be{You}tiful collection of goodies for you that you won't want to miss. There is a fabulous facebook hop where you can collect 25 be{You}tiful templates and they wouldn't dare celebrate their anniversary or DSD without an awesome store wide sale! There will be 3 live events each day (with the exception of Thursday when there will be only 1) where we can meet in the chat room and get a little crazy (or a lot crazy for some of us...but I'm not naming any names!). There will be prizes awarded at each live event so be sure to be there on time! We'll also have 2 challenges for you each day where you can earn the pieces to a HUGE collab (We're talking 96 Papers, 82 Journal Cards, 190 Ellies and a full alpha!!)! You'll have all weekend to complete the challenges so don't stress about getting them done quickly. Kick back with us and enjoy your weekend! Castin' My Spell

A wonderful collaboration of Halloween fun that LilyAnn, from A Fish Design, is anxious to tell you about!

Crescent Moon Designs (Charly) and I teamed up to bring to you "Castin' My Spell."  These kits have a gorgeous Halloween color palette of orange, purple, green, blue and black.  And if you don't celebrate Halloween, there is enough "extras" to scrap just about anything.
